Some players are spot players, others use routes. Spot players are deadly once they get to a spot, but are vulnerable whenever they are away from their spots. Route players are effective along an entire route, and have spots they use along the route. You want to get good at routes, not spots, because spot players are not effective throughout the map.

The key to becoming an effective player is being able to use the entire map, and be confident that you can win an engagement at any area on the map. Also, never say, "I hate this map." Once you say that about a map, you will not find the routes and spots to make it an effective map for you.

Learn how to read the maps and identify the best routes and spots. Great movement tactics are no good if you don't know the map and where you are going. You will live longer with good movement, but you need to combine good movement with map reading to be most effective.
